Pandolce Genovese Recipe for two sweet bread cakes   500 g flour 150 g sugar 200 g butter 2 eggs 250 g raisins 100 g pine seeds 5 g bicarbonate (a tea- spoon ) drops of essence of orange flowers Preparation Mix together the fluor, sugar, butter and eggs, bicarbonate and essence and knead the batter. Add the pine seeds and raisins. Divide the batter into two parts, shape each part like a dome and put each of them into a pan. Cook for 30 minutes at 180°   dalla classe 2 A di Romito Magra

Verdure Fritte per Natale INGREDIENTI mezzo chilo di cavolfiore ½ kilo cauliflower mezzo chilo di finocchio fennel mezzo chilo di zucchine gourgettes mezzo chilo di melanzane eggplant mezzo chilo di carciofi hartichokes per la pastella 3 uova eggs 500g di farina flour acqua quanto basta water sale quanto basta salt PROCEDIMENTO: sbollentare il cavolfiore e i finocchi (al dente) poi si tagliano a spicchi; zucchine carciofi e melanzane vanno tagliati a crudo a sottiletta Per la pastella: prendi una ciotola versi la farina, sbatti le uova e versale dentro la ciotola,aggiungi sale q. b. e acqua q. b. ; sbattere bene e lasciar riposare per mezz’ora.(la pastella deve essere non troppo liquida). Immergi la verdura nella pastella e friggere in una padella con olio (abbondante) finchè la pastella è non dorata; scolare sulla carta per togliere l’olio. Put vegetables into hot boiling water for a few minutes then slice them. Put flour, beaten eggs into a bowl, add salt and water. Stir and let it rest for half an hour. Dip vegetables into the batter, then fry in oil.
