  1. Coming Soon!!!As the end of the year creeps up on us, there are some important dates that you might want to mark in your calendar. Please read carefully for special instructions  May 5th: Field Day Opening Ceremonies-Please wear your 1st grade shirt or the color blue! (you will need to wear your shirt again for field day) May 7th: First Grade Field Day 11:30-1:30-Please wear your 1st grade blue shirt or the color blue! Send your child to school with a disposable bottle of water that can be recycled after field day. Come and cheer us on! NO EARLY CHECKOUTS on this day please! May 13th: All Library Books are Due & last day to take an AR test!!! May 16th: Mrs. Veltri’s Awards Day begins promptly at 10:00 am Parents and guardians are invited to attend. An invitation with an RSVP will be coming home soon! You may check out in the classroom this day if you want to take your child to a special lunch.  May 14th: Please send in a white t-shirt for your child between now and May 14th. We will be making special tie-die shirts for our end of year party I will write your child’s name on the shirt tag. PLEASE pre-wash the shirt before sending it in! May 23rd: End of Year PartyOnly 5 chaperones are needed for this day. Email Mrs. Veltri if you are interested.May 26th: NO School May 29th: Last Day of School I have been truly blessed to be your child’s teacher this year, and I am going to sincerely miss each and every one of you! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me and our class! ~Mrs. Veltri
