La Fête du Pain, held in Fayence, celebrates the rich history of the village's 1522 bread oven. After falling into disrepair, local residents united in 1997 to restore the oven and create a cultural association, reviving the traditional bread baking heritage. Every two years, the festival transforms the village with old costumes, music, and dances, as local bakers once again fire up the oven. Visitors can explore wax figures, historical objects, and enjoy freshly baked bread, making it a delightful experience rooted in local tradition.
