  3. War facts about Ulysses Grant remained in army after his marriage. Grant was about 39 when the Civil War started. He fought in many battles. He served two terms as President of the U. S. He lead troops with determination and confidence. As soon as war broke out his duty began to fight for the Union.

  5. Facts about Ulysses death • Grant died July 23 1885 • Soon, after completing his memories his body lies in tomb in New York city that is officially named the General Grant National Memorial • Soon his wife died in 1909 and lied right next to Grant
