  6. 16626 Iraqi nationals have been assisted by IOM in their voluntary return to Iraq in the period starting from June 2003 to date, returning from 38 countries. AVR – ROC IOM Iraq (in Amman)

  13. ROC has noticed a graduate increase of migrants numbers assisted with their resettlement from Iraq to the hosting countries starting fromyear 2006. Total Migrants assisted so fare under resettlement programs 3989. AVR – ROC IOM Iraq (in Amman)

During FY 09: (expected caseload as advised by OPE was 2000 Migrant) ROC has assisted 1481 pax with their travel form Iraq to the USA. 213 pax to Romania in order to process their cases before traveling to USA 98 pax to Slovakia in order to process their cases before traveling to USA 1215 pax SIV provided with departure assistance from Iraq AVR – ROC IOM Iraq (in Amman)

During FY 10: (expected caseload as advised by OPE is 4000 Migrant) ROC has assisted 1055 pax with their travel form Iraq to the USA (1750 pax if including Feb bookings / ABNs). 72 pax to Romania in order to process their case before traveling to the USA 688 pax SIV provided with departure assistance from Iraq AVR – ROC IOM Iraq (in Amman)

  22. Additional steps when handling Al Waleed cases: Coordinate with UNHCR regarding the related ICRC Travel Documents. Receive, check scan and send the related TDs to Iraq Team. Coordinate with Iraqi MOI / Residency directorate for exit formalities. Coordinate with the Camp Clinic Medical Team regarding PDR and DW appointments. Arrange for land transport and pick up the refugees from Al Waleed Camp escorted by ROC staff. Coordinate with Security department (For road assessment, best route to follow, advices,….)
