  3. Module adaptation • Nature of Science and Science Education (in Englis) from • Nature of Science ( in Estonian)

  4. What has been done? • February- March piloting among pre service science teachers ( 8) • March- June 15 science teachers ( only 10 finished ) • October - February15 science teachers ongoing ( 2 face to face sessions)

  5. Evaluation of the course • By 7 teachers (as part of MSc thesis) gap between students and teachers views Outcomes: --- influence on inquiry teaching --- bringing nature of science issues into the classroom --- moving slightly away from positivist viewpoint

  6. Accreditation • University of Tartu in service diploma • Part of pre service course – Science –technology –Society)
