Engineers Without BordersThe Guatemala Sustainability Project • We are working with Candelaria Camposanto a small Mayan community in Guatemala. • The community has no running water system, forcing them to wash their clothes in the local spring, where they also obtain their drinking water and bathe in. This causes pollution that affects the community’s health and eco-tourism business. • Our solution is to build a lavanderia (clothes washing station). • By donation!! • All proceeds go to the small Mayan community.
