  5. B. Peace and grace go hand in hand. Without the grace of God there can be no peace in the believer’s soul.

  6. 2. Six categories of special blessings from the Grace of God for the mature believer that result in his having the peace of the Lord:

  7. a. Spiritual BlessingsThe inherent reward of adjustment to the justice of God. (Virtue directed toward God)

  8. Inherent “peace” is received in the believer’s life as a result of:1) Sharing the perfect happiness of God, because of Occupation with Christ.

  9. 2) Capacity for life, love, happiness, blessing, and total appreciation for grace.

  10. 3) The ability to face undeserved suffering in life.

  11. 4) The ability to correctly interpret contemporary history, to evaluate current events in the light of the Word of God.

  12. 5) Freedom from slavery to circumstances in life and adaptability to changing circumstances. The mature believer is the greatest innovator in time of historical disaster.

  13. 6) Grace orientation, freedom orientation, authority orientation, and common sense.

  14. 7) A total sense of security, whether in prosperity or disaster.1 Cor 14:33

  15. b. Temporal Blessings Designed uniquely for each mature believer, which may include:

  17. 2) Professional prosperity: great influence, leadership dynamics, success, promotion, recognition in one's sphere of life.

  18. 3) Social prosperity, great friends.

  20. 5) Technical prosperity or mental prosperity: the ability to think, and concentrate increase.

  21. 6) Cultural prosperity: maximum enjoyment of drama, art, literature, music, and history.

  22. 7) Establishment prosperity: enjoyment of freedom, privacy, protection of life and property from criminals and reprisal.

  24. c. Blessing by Association Overflow to family and friends as God prospers the supergrace believer. In addition, the supergrace believer shares his blessings with others.

  25. d. Historical Impact Blessing by association extended to the believer's community, state and nation. Lev 26:3-13

  26. e. Undeserved Suffering Demands intensified application of Bible doctrine, accelerating spiritual growth and increasing appreciation of the Lord and His grace blessings. Rom 5:3-5; 8:28

  27. f. Dying GraceThe mature believer's final glorious experience of divine grace on earth with supernatural tranquility and eager anticipation.
