Activities to Reach the Goal • Regular membership updates to all chapters and advisors • Recognition at District, State and ICDC of chapters and advisors achieving goals
Promotional Mix • Email • Mail Outs • Web Site • Social Media • Facebook • Twitter
Resources Needed • Posters/flyers • Database of members and advisors
Incentives • Additional Competitor Slots at ICDC • Top chapters receive recognition on stage at SCDC • Advisors of top chapters receive special recognition and rewards • Bragging rights with your peers and fellow chapters
Goal 2 Increase number of chapters by 20% (New or reactivated) • Expand DECA to new parts of the state • Increase opportunities for students • College/Career readiness • Increase membership in marketing/business programs
Activities to Reach the Goal • Research potential schools • Contact administrators and teachers at prospect schools • School visits/student presentations • Invite to conferences • Mentor Program
Promotional Mix • Media Kit • Onsite visits • Web Site (state and national) • Email and phone calls
Resources Needed • Prospect school web sites • PED Database • Media Kit from National DECA to include: • Chapter Promotional Video • Start up Kit • New Advisor booklet
Incentives • Free registration at state conference • Sponsorship for ICDC • Free Slot to ICDC • Curriculum start up materials • No assignments at State or ICDC • Preferred seating at state CDC
