Before purchasing a phone card for international calls, it’s crucial to understand exactly what you’re buying and its true costs. Many people choose phone cards as a cheaper alternative to mobile or landline calls. However, be wary of hidden fees, including connection and disconnection charges, and administration costs that can accrue even when you’re not using the card. Additionally, many cards have a limited validity period, and while they may advertise low rates, extra fees can quickly add up. Always do your research to avoid unpleasant surprises.
