Three traditional practices of Lent are: • prayer (justice towards God) • fasting (justice towards self) • giving to the poor (justice towards neighbor) • Some believers choose to give up a vice, • add something to their life that will bring them closer to God, and often give the time or money spent on vices to church or other charitable purposes. Review: What is Lent?

  16. Redeeming the Time Most of us have no idea how long we will live. Why not make the most of every day by investing the time we have on earth in things that reap eternal dividends? “Our Sacrifice of Time”

  17. Redeeming the Time For Lent, take a moment to reflect on the many ways that we waste time in things that have no eternal significance. “Our Sacrifice of Time”
