  4. State Leadership Team Provides clear, written expectations for coaches, districts, and schools. • Clearly defines benchmark and report expectations and timelines for submissions • Develops clear expectations for coaches • Provides training and guidance for coaches, districts, and schools

District Leadership Team Creates district Leadership Team and works through SEA expectations Works with and reviews the school Leadership Team’s: • Meeting agendas and minutes • Assessment and Implementation of indicators • Implementation of plans and tasks • Progress of form completion and submission Data mines across schools in district Uses Data Queries to assess progress Reviews forms or indicator work before it is submitted Reviews SEA reviewer comments

District Leadership Team Reviews the work of the school Leadership Team to determine where district supports and resources might be applied. • School work aligned to district goals • Resource allocation • Staffing needs • Coaching support • Support and encouragement • Better understand the work of the school

  7. District Leadership Team Dialogues with the coach via coaching comments and reviews • Provides district expectations for school coaches • Conducts effective feedback training and guided practice • Periodically reviews coaching comments for the purpose of supporting coaches

  8. District Liaisons Regularly reviews the work of the School Leadership Team • Periodically attends School Leadership Meetings • Provides coaching comments from the district • Recognizes school success • Provides district support for struggling schools

  9. Superintendent Provides Direction for the District Leadership team • Assists in building leadership capacity for districts and schools • Focuses on District support for school improvement • Demonstrates support by being involved in the process • Generates reports for the school board using the guest login

  10. Stakeholders School board members, district and school personnel and district stakeholders review reports through the Guest Login to stay abreast of the evolving district and school plans and offer feedback.
