UNIT SUMMARRY • The cell is the basic structural, functional and biological unit of all known living organisms. Cells are the smallest unit if life that is classified as a living thing, and are often called the “building blocks if life”. Cell were discovered by Robert Hooke in 1665 from thin slices of cork and other plant materials, because of his discovery the mind of many people about the cells has been more enhance to have a more research on why does life form?
