Important Guidelines for the Science Fair on March 7, 2014

Join us for the Science Fair on Friday, March 7, 2014, starting at 3:30 p.m. All students must check in and set up their projects by 3:15 p.m. to participate. Bring your Science Fair ID number in large font on your paper to locate your designated table. Judges will arrive at 3:20 p.m. Ensure you are ready and engage positively with the judges during their review. After two judges have assessed your project, stay until the top 5 projects are announced. If not among the top 5, you may check out afterward.

  1. Procedure for Science Fair

  2. DATE OF FAIR AND TIME • Friday March 7, 2014 • Starts at 3:30p.m. • Ends around 6:30p.m. • ALL STUDENTS MUST BE CHECKED IN and SET UP by 3:15p.m.

  3. AFTER SCHOOL • All Projects MUST be checked in and in their designated location by 3:15p.m. • If you are not checked in by 3:15p.m. your project will not participate in the event • YOU must check in by having you Science Fair ID number Paper with you • Printer paper with your Science Fair ID # in Large Font • Locate your table number and tape your Id Number Paper to the table for the judges to locate your project

  5. Judge’s will be arriving around 3:20p.m. therefore everyone must be all SET up and ready by 3:15p.m.

  6. Once the Fair Starts monitor the number of judges that review your project. • Do your best to answer all questions or comments about your project • Be Polite and Respectful

  7. Once 2 judges have reviewed your project you must stay at the fair until the top 5 projects are announced. • If your project is not part of the top 5, you will then be able to CHECK OUT and LEAVE. • Check out will take place at the back of the Gym and you MUST CHECKOUT OUT.
