  2. Who is Buddha? He was a prince born in 563 BC in Nepal.

  3. Do you recognize this structure? This structure is a pagoda. A pagoda is a tiered tower temple usually found in Japan and China. This pagoda was built as part of a hotel resort in Reading. It is not a place of worship.

  4. There are other types of Buddhist temples • The white structures are called stupas. They are sealed mounds that contain copies of Buddhist writings.

  5. A wat is a Buddhist temple in Thailand and Cambodia. A well known wat is Angkor Wat. • In which country will you find this wat?
