TRANSED in India - Preparations • Various national and international agencies were contacted by Svayam seeking their support. • Plan of action formulated to set up the secretariat. } • Scientific committee meetings were held for broad structure of the conference, themes and sub-themes. • MD Ms. Sminu Jindal and the team went and met with the senior officials of Union tourism ministry and Delhi Government and Transport Ministry of Delhi seeking. • Minister of Tourism too was approached. • Svayam continues to meet up and follow up with supporting agencies from time to time. • Ms. Sminu Jindal , MD , Jindal SAW Ltd. and Transed 2012 Committee members with Kumari Shailja, the then Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Delhi.

(Conti …) • Registration fee for Attendant/Caregiver for PWD will include entry to all sessions, including gala dinner, except pre-conference workshops/ post conference optional tours. • The early bird registration deadline is Feb 29, 2012. In order to qualify for the discounted early registration fee, a completed registration form and payment must be received by Feb 29, 2012 deadline. • All fees for the meeting will be collected in INR to control for currency fluctuations.

Development and Maintenance of TRANSED Website URL : www.transed2012.in Dedicated Website has been developed for TRANSED that provides online Registration, Accommodation and Tour bookings besides providing all information related to the conference. It will be maintained and constantly updated until the run up to the event and also post event till a final report is presented to the TRB Committee in USA during their annual meeting in January 2013.
