School Mission The mission of Capital Christian School is to prepare students to deal with the issues and realities of life by developing their spiritual, academic, social, and physical potential all through the foundation of biblical truth (Capital Christian School, 2012).   3. Technology Mission The technology mission of this plan is to prepare students in academic excellence through the foundation of biblical truth. Capital Christian School

  4. Technology Goal The goal is to train teachers in the flipped classroom approach so that they may improve student learning and to incorporate technology to all students across the curriculum through individual devices. Capital Christian School

  5. Technology Strengths • Computer labs at elementary, middle and high school campuses • Classroom networked computers • Document cameras, Wide-screen TVs, projectors • Software, Internet • Wireless at the high school Capital Christian School

  6. Technology Weaknesses • No technology coordinator • Lack of training for current leaders • Lack of K-12 wifi • Lack of assistive technologies Capital Christian School

  7. Flipped Classroom Implementation • 2012-2013: Inservice teachers on flipped classroom and Sophia.com, begin video library • 2013-2014: Assistive technologies, Train teachers on Web 2.0 tools • 2014-2015: Install wifi campus wide Capital Christian School
