  8. Days are expensive ~ spend each day wisely • Your best opportunities are those that align with your overall goals and should be what you spend your time on! • Don’t fall into the urgent rather than important time-management trap. • “If you don’t design your own plan, chances are you will fall into someone else’s plan.”

  17. What are the skills of sales? • Know your stuff To give it you first have to have it 2. Talk to lots of people Qualified people / law of large #’s • Be persistent and never take “no” for an answer

  18. Pillar #9 ~ Income Seldom Exceeds Personal Development • Money doesn’t solve the problems of life • What is most important is the person you have to become in the process of becoming a millionaire. • You have to love what you become, not love money.

  19. Profits are better than wages. • As long as you work for someone else you won’t make that much money. • Work full time on your job and part time on your fortune. • Anything of significance is going to be hard.

  20. Financial Independence is the ability to live from the income of your own personal resources.

  21. Pillar #10 ~ Communication “All communication is two or more people working together to find the common ground of understanding. And when they find that common ground, they are positioned to have tremendous power together”

  22. Communication isn’t just what you say. It is also how you say it, when you say it, and the receptiveness of who you say it to. • The other ½ of communication is LISTENING Listening is the most important!! • It isn’t the skill of listening that is most important. It is the character behind the skill. • You have to care enough and value the other person enough to want to listen.

  23. Pillar #11 ~ The World Can Always Use One More Great Leader • Leadership = influence • To Lead = to help them change their thoughts, beliefs and actions for the better. • Leaders talk about what could be (optimistic vision) • Relationship built on trust • Fill your life with integrity
