About the Journal • Official publication of the 2400-member American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and 15 international cosmetic surgery societies • Indexed on MEDLINE/PubMed and with Thomson Reuters “ISI” service • Published 8 times per year as of 2011 • Contains the most purely cosmetic content of any journal and has a circulation of over 9,000 • Features online-only supplemental material with many articles, including videos, suggested readings, and appendices • Returns a first decision within an average of 14 days (and no more than 30 days) on newly-submitted manuscripts

Call for Papers • Original articles (ie, a case series investigating a particular technique or device) in aesthetic surgery and cosmetic medicine • Review articles (ie, a review of the literature or an anatomical study establishing “best practices”) • Case reports (ie, limited reports of a specific presentation or complication that is unique in the literature) • Special topics (ie, discussions of topics important in clinical practice, such as socioeconomic issues, patient safety, technology-based advances, practice marketing, or program evaluations) • Letters to the Editor
