  5. More Quick Facts Venezuela • Location: Venezuela is at the top of the continent of South America. It is as big as Texas and Oklahoma combined.

  6. More Quick Facts Venezuela • The Land: The Andes Mountains stretch across the western part of Venezuela. Most people live in the central zone, near the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The Orinoco River cuts across the center of Venezuela. Only 5 percent of the people live south of the river. The land to the east is a flat plain called the llano. In the south are jungles and highlands.

It rains often between May and November. • Assemblies of God Facts: Currently, 14 U.S. Assemblies of God missionaries work in Venezuela. There are 2,148 churches, but there are fewer pastors than churches. More pastors are being trained in the Bible schools.
