  1. Prefabricated Construction-Buildings System in India prefabricated or pre-engineered buildings comprise of merely 1% of India’s $100 billion real estate market. However, given the extended slump in the residential real estate, with inventories at all-time high, developers believe that its popularity will rise. The reason behind this is the faster completion of projects due to prefabrication which further lowers overall costs. According to industry experts, if it takes a year to complete a housing project using conventional methods, it takes 5 to 6 months using precast construction, with the scale being the same. Further, for an industry which, following the slump is greatly leveraged, with mounting debts and restricted cash flows, completing projects early saves interest cost and is of vital importance. As India has gradually started adopting the methodology, several prefab exporters in India have started their business primarily into this industry. Some of the foreign companies have even announced plans to make India their manufacturing hub for Asian markets, exporting steel structures used for fabrication to several South East Asian countries. Back in India, the government aims to provide housing for all by 2022, which requires constructing 30 million low cost houses along with building 98 smart cities. Both these proposals are expected to provide a boost to prefabricated system. Many portable cabin manufacturers have already grabbed some or other type of contract and are eager to build world class housing. Moreover, the government’s decision in late 2014 to relax previous conditions relating to 100% FDI in real estate has enabled quicker adoption of modern prefab. Prefabricated building systems in India are slowly getting a move on with many builders and construction companies now adopting the methodology in India. As far as the world is concerned, this system has already been accepted and has gained a lot of momentum. Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the Sydney Opera House are the two finest examples of this technique being employed. Prefabricated construction began in Europe after the World War 2 and has been commonly used in several parts of the world for decades. As far as India is concerned, it’s slowly but steadily catching up.

  2. Important of Colour Coated Profile Sheets in the PEB Industry Colour coated profile sheets are in great demand in India, especially in the PEB sector. There are several manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of Colour coated profile sheet who manufacture the said product with superior grade raw material. The sheets are quite popular amongst the clients for their low maintenance, weather resistance, light weight, easy installation and outstanding design. Many pre-engineered metal building and portable cabin manufacturers provide such sheets with top quality making. These profile sheets are highly durable roofing sheets primarily used in the pre-engineered steel buildings industry for making industrial roof and cladding. They have high quality coating right through the roof or cladding. The use of these sheets along with the weather conditions determines the thickness of its coating. These sheets include lining enamel which is used as internal lining. These sheets can withstand constant temperature from 40 to 80 degree. Further, they also provide better protection against the cold temperature.

  3. Features   Heat Insulation: These sheets are coated with Colours having better insulation properties Water resistant: These sheets have coating of standard thickness that doesn’t let water to seep through these Light in weight: Steel or aluminium is used by these profile sheets as the base material, thus these profile sheets are light in weight, thus exerting minimum pressure on roofs or floors. Extreme loading capacity: The condition of all the sheets is good in tensile strength that helps to bear heavy loads without getting damaged Great look: These profile sheets are available in beautiful Colours and designs and thus are extremely attractive in appearance Economical: These sheets are extremely economical and thus can save lots of additional costs such as maintenance and installation costs Green & Environmental: These sheets incorporate eco-friendly Colour and other materials Weatherproof: These sheets lie sturdy on their position without getting damaged irrespective of extreme weather conditions such as windy and rainy.       Pre-engineered steel structures along with pre-fabricated panels are the foundation that are primarily designed for dismantling and easy construction on which the pre-fabricated units are based. They are extremely flexible as in they can be installed almost anywhere without posing threat to the prevailing structure. Ceilings, doors, floors, windows and walls are independently connected to each unit and no construction is involved in its installation and is available with its own pre-fabricated floor that can be rested on any given surface. After this, the walls are then erected and screwed on the floor with the roof resting on the walls. Windows, doors and AC are planned as per your requirements. Also, accessories such as lights, fans and computers can effortlessly be fitted into such structures. According to a porta cabin manufacturer, such structures are extremely useful to those who have to move to other location for their business requirements. Pre-fabrication adds tremendous value to your outdoor space as well, if it’s not used that often. You can utilize the unused space for construction a portable pool in very less time. Such pools cost anywhere between INR 1 lakh to INR 2 lakh. They can be easily erected on the ground and can be rip to pieces when not required and further such pools are extremely safe for children as well. Be it outdoor or indoor, the portable/pre-fabricated structures carry the same pleasing appeal.

  4. The advantages of using prefabrication prefabricated components speed up construction time, resulting in lower labour costs prefabrication allows for year-round construction work is not affected by weather delays (related to excessive cold, heat, rain, snow, etc.) the mechanization used in prefabricated construction ensures precise conformity to building code standards and greater quality assurance there are less wasted materials than in site-built construction there is less theft of material/equipment (and less property damage due to vandalism) materials are protected from exposure to the elements during construction worker safety and comfort level are higher than in site-built construction According to the industry insiders, a lot of effort and money have been invested on a prefabrication facility and on the anvil. With this they can have a production capacity of 1.5 crore sq.ft of building material annually with which they can construct an 18 floor tower in less than 10 months, which typically takes around two years. Further, this technology can be used for all types of construction, i.e. low rises, high rises, mass townships, villas, etc. It’s specifically useful for mass housing as it lessens both time as well as dependence on labour. Another benefit of this technology is its durability. Prefabricated construction imparts strong structural strength, allowing such structures to withstand earthquakes, which matters a lot in the seismic-sensitive Indian landscape.
