Analysis of DMF-Modified FKBP Digest Peptides Using ProZap C18 Chromatography

This study investigates the influence of DMF (Dimethylformamide) modification on FKBP (FK506 binding protein) digest peptides. We utilized ProZap C18 chromatography to analyze peptide retention times under various deuterium levels. The results revealed significant differences in retention times, averaging 18% higher deuterium levels due to DMF modification. Our analysis included fragmentation patterns represented as [M+H]+ and [M+2H]2+, identifying numerous common fragments (38) across varying retention times. This research contributes to understanding peptide behavior in modified conditions crucial for therapeutic applications.
