THE COLLEGE STRUCTURE CRITERIA USED IN THE PROPOSAL OF THE COLLEGE STRUCTURES Streamlining/ rationalizing Efficiency, Effectiveness & Cost Benefits HR at the Units (Capacity for sustainability & Mgt of academic provisions) Population size of Students in relation to University size Numbers of Academic Programmes at Units Facilities at the Units (Space per student) Number of Departments at the Units Mandate ( Synergies in the Mandates) exhibition of distinct identity/ Character e.g. Medicine, Agriculture, Education, Humanities as a sectors. Council policy ( at least two University Units to combine into a college, Growth and Expansion with explicit approval of Council) Propose a memorandum for all the colleges before their Formation Develop a table to consider this parameters as proposed
