Stork’s Nest Update • Rooms will be available at the Dragon Hill Lodge at reduced prices • OB/GYN Clinic will inform patients of availability and provide letter of eligibility to expectant mothers • Stork’s Nest Buildings will close 1 March 2013 • All families with current reservations will be honored • through that date • Dragon Hill Special Rates: 50% off • - E1 thru E5 $32/night • - E6 thru 03 $37/night • - 04 and above $43/night

  8. Veterinary Services Update • Community Updates: • The Yongsan Veterinary Clinic now offers monthly evening walk-in clinics. The next evening clinic will be 20 February 2013, 1600-2000. Please call the VTF with any questions: 738-5145 • Overall No-Show rate for December 2012: 6.8%, a total of 35 medical appointments • CP Humphreys receptionist, veterinarian, and technician positions have been filled and services have been expanded. Veterinary Services Update • New animal laws in Korea • Pets must be microchipped and registered at a local Korean veterinary hospital: does NOT apply to SOFA affiliated Soldiers and civilians. • All pets must be on a leash when outside and fractious breeds should wear a muzzle. This includes: • Tosa and Tosa mix • American Pit Bull /Mix • American Staffordshire Terrier/Mix • Staffordshire Terrier/mix • Rottweiler/Mix • Any fractious dogs that are aggressive to people • The fractious breed rules WILL apply to anyone in Korea, including SOFA affiliated Soldiers and civilians and is punishable by fine. • ICE Comments • Pets on the Patriot Express

  11. 618th Dental Company • TRICARE Area Office Pacific (TAOP) conducted Credentialing visit • Purpose of trip: To perform site visits at Korean Host Nation Dental Clinic that have signed on as MetLife Preferred Providers. • Verification and Credentialing Process: In office visit • Dentist speaks English. • Dentist maintains a valid license. • All dental instruments are sterilized. • Dental staff wears masks and disposable gloves when treating patients. • 5. Eye protection is provided for patients. • 6. Office is neat, clean, and treatment is current and professional. • 7. Medical emergency training, equipment, and supplies are up-to-date.
