High voltage underwater cable lines CES Company Group has a range of material, technological and professional resources essential to the turnkey construction process of high voltage underwater cable lines. All of our work is carried out by Company Group personnel who use their own specialised sea and river technology. Our employees have undergone training and intern ships at factories which manufacture this type of equipment and material and they all have the necessary certificates to do this work. CES Company Group is the prime contractor for FGC UES, JSC for the construction of high voltage, long-distance underwater cable lines. In 2009, CES Company Group carried out a unique project to provide an internal electricity supply to Valaam island and laid double circuit underwater cable lines at the bottom of Lake Ladoga. The cable remained at factory length without the need to use box connectors. At the present moment, we are carrying out preparation work for the construction of a 330kW underwater cable line in the basin of the Gulf of Finland. The company is made up of 52 factories in 21 countries across five continents. During the Valaam project we worked in close cooperation with Prysmian company: supplies direct from the factory, consultative support, and training which took place in the factory. All of this ensured that our specialists successfully and efficiently carried out their work and gained the unique experience of being the first people in Russia to master technology for the design and construction of high voltage underwater cable lines. ALSTOM Holdings (France), one of the world's three largest manufacturers of equipment and electricity transmission systems and CES, LLC, signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Collaboration on the Russian Electricity Market during the St Petersburg International Energy Forum in 2011.
