  2. Transducers • Any device that translates a physical property into an electrical one (or vice versa) • Thermistor – changes temperature into resistance • Photoresistor – changes illumination into resistance

  3. Lab Activities • Activity #1 – Temperature Measurements • Uncompensated • Using DMM special probe (see data sheet in class folder) • Compensated (with linearizing resistor) • Activity #2 – Illumination Measurements • Resistance measurements • Instrumentation amplifier (DC and AC outputs)
