  1. NEPAL TRADE UNION CONGRESS Updating the NTUC website And Developing presentation skill.

  2. Background and Justification • 1.1: At present computer basic knowledge is important for top executives, department co-ordinates, and educators. Mainly presentation skill is most important. • 1.2: Power point presentation is necessary for effective education program. • 1.3: Top executive and Department chiefs are facing problem of unorganised presentation of their report. • 1.4: Affiliated Federation Leaders are also not being able to use power point presentation and due to lack of the knowledge of internet they are also facing problems in their bargaining process.

  3. Target Groups • Executive - 5 • Dept. Heads - 5 • Educators - 10 Total - 20

DevelopmentObjectives • Strengthen NTUC. • Meet the challenges of globalisation. • Uplift the capacity of trade unionists while working with other social partners, IfIs, Donors, and other international organisations. • Closely work with ICFTU and ITSs. • Work for trade union solidarity. • Carryout Various research activities

  5. Immediate Objectives • At the end of the work plan, targeted persons will be able to use email . • At the end of the work plan, targeted person will be able to use internet. • At the end of the work plan, targeted person will be able to use power point. • NTUC will be able to have well updated web site.

  6. Indicators of Achievement • Number of the participants who can apply email, internet. • Number and level of educators who can apply Power Point in their education. • Condition of website (updating, design and information)

  7. Activities • Meeting -Executives, Department Chiefs, and Educators. • Training on Introducing email and its application. • Training on Introducing power point and its applications. • Training on Introducing internet • Training on web creation and updating.

  8. Strategies • Selection of participants. • Preparation of education manual. • Using resource persons. • For web creation – selection of best participants in the project and involve them for future activities. • NTUC web site will be updated during the work plan .

  9. Inputs • P-3 Computer-5-(750*5)= 3750 US$ • Education manual on basic computer, pp, email- Internet and web creation. • Resource persons –NTUC • Multimedia projector • Digital camera • Scanner

  10. Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation • Monitoring Quarterly by NTUC–DoEd. • Reporting Quarterly by DoEd to NTUC, Donors and ILO ITC. • Evaluation - At the end of the project / will be a One day evaluation meeting. • The out comes of evaluation will be sent to donors, ILO ITC. • Special format will be linked on NTUC web site to evaluate the website.
