  2. Twelve More Questions • 1. What will our heavenly bodies be like? • Free from the curse of sin- 1 Corinthians 15:56 • Redeemed and healthy • Without disease or pain • They will be indestructible • Natural beauty • No cosmetics needed

  3. Twelve More Questions • 1. What will our heavenly bodies be like? • We will be totally satisfied and pleased with our new bodies • In this tent we groan • 2 Cor. 5:2,4 • We long for our eternal bodies • 2 Cor. 5:1

What will our heavenly bodies be like? • Our earthly body is called a tent • 2 Cor. 5:1 • This is very temporary • When our temporary body is discarded, God will transform our tent into a glorious body just like Jesus’ body after His resurrection • Philippians 3:21; 1 John 3:2

  5. Twelve More Questions • 1. What will our heavenly bodies be like? • We don’t have to do anything to try to improve our health or appearance • Revelation 21:4 • No heart disease • No asthma • No cancer • No arthritis

  6. Twelve More Questions • 1. What will our heavenly bodies be like? • No soreness or stiffness • No insecurities • No comparing • No aging • Our senses will be perfect • Touch- hugs • Taste- all food delicious

  7. Twelve More Questions • 1. What will our heavenly bodies be like? • Smell- vegetation, food • Sight- clear vision • Sounds- no tenitis • Our endurance will be everlasting • Not grow weary • Isaiah 40:31

  18. Twelve More Questions • 9. Will we laugh in heaven? • Who said- “If we’re not allowed to laugh in heaven, I don’t want to go there!”- It was M.C. • Sounds of laughter life our souls • Proverbs- good medicine • Those who weep now will laugh • Luke 6:21,23

  19. Twelve More Questions • 9. Will we laugh in heaven? • “Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” • No mocking • No disrespect • No raunchy humor • Those in hell will never laugh again for eternity • Luke 6:25

Will there be games and sports in heaven? • We will have a child-like spirit- playful- Mark 10:14-15 • If there are competitive sports in heaven, it will be totally friendly and uplifting • Eric Liddell- “He made me fast and when I run I feel God’s pleasure.” (Olympics, missionary to China)

  21. Twelve More Questions • 11. Will anything about heaven disappoint us? • The answer is a resounding No! • Everyone will be optimistic • Everyone will be encouraging • Everyone will be honest • Everyone will be grateful • Everyone will be thoughtful
