  2. 1 John 5:16-17 “If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. 7. What is walking in the light?

  8. 1. He hates sin. Psalm 101:3-4 “I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not fasten its grip on me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.” Psalm 119:104 “From Thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.”

  9. 1. He hates sin. Job 1:1 “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” Romans 7:14-20 The apostle Paul struggled with sin, but his committing sin was contrary to what he wanted to do in his life.

For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer.  I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and You forgave the guilt of my sin.  Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found.”
