This programme aims to explore Citizenship Education (CE) in UK schools, its philosophy, implementation, and engagement with stakeholders. Participants will gain insights on whole-school approaches, community support, and critical success factors for CE. The three-phase structure includes briefings on UK educational policies, school visits, and visits to Croyden College and Houses of Parliament. Key learning points include the importance of CE in a changing British society, the revised CE curriculum's purpose, and the synergy among ministries, NGOs, schools, and stakeholders. Professional development and readily available resources will also be addressed during the exchange programme.
