The Crop Care Robot project unites teams from Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering to develop innovative navigation and power management systems for precision agriculture. This initiative focuses on precise seeding in crop rows and robust power management for computation and sensor systems. By integrating hardware with the Mechanical Engineering team, we enable effective data logging and delivery. Our cutting-edge sensing algorithms will identify weeds and assess crop health while recording critical agricultural events for improved farm management.
