  5. They are inventions.But who invented them？ Do you know any famous inventors? Edison was a great inventor. All his life he had many inventions. That is, he invented many things that are very useful in our life. They have all changed our world since they were invented. So we must thank the great inventor for his inventions.

  6. Discussion: 1.Which is the most useful invention, the second most useful invention and the third? 2.Which of them would you most like to own? WHY?

  7. Please guess what they are. 1.Here is a box with a beautiful glass face. It looks like a TV, but it’s not a TV. It’s very clever and can work very fast. It can help you study or work,but you can’t watch TV plays on it. 2.This little thing has got numbers from 0-9. It has no legs but has an arm and its arm has got a long tail. It can’t walk, but it can talk. It likes to sleep. You can lift up its arm and wake it up at anytime.It is pleased to help you talk to your friends far away.

It can take several hundred people to any places in the world. 4.Here is an interesting box. It’s not very big, but you can find everything in it, for example, people ,birds,animals, flowers, tall buildings, even rivers and sea. From the face of the box you can see things and people moving, and you can hear all kinds of sounds, too.
