Unknown larvae Sp. nov Mis-ID aconitus Does barcoding work in Culicidae? • Archive specimens are sequencing well, but need contigs of 2-3 fragments, potentially trebling the costs • First sweeps have dealt with NHM & SI tissue & DNA banks, now working with collaborators worldwide to get maximum fresh material. • Need to gee up collaborators to meet CBOL deadline • MBI needs to keep costs down and speed up…..
