What was trying to be done… • Chevy was trying to produce a nice economic car, easy on gas, and a fair pricing range. • Trying to abide by FMVS guidelines. • The Chevrolet Cobalt is an example of America's ability to build a decent compact automobile as well. • The Chevrolet Cobalt sedan is available in four trim levels: LS, LT, LTZ and SS. • Produce a fun, must need car that will make people happy.

Reasons why… • 98,707 Chevy Cobalt's weren’t equipped with the roof mounted side impact air bags to comply with the requirements for the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety standard No. 201. • 1,378 2005 Chevy Cobalt's were recalled on November 22, 2004 for the headlights falling off, breaking, or catching fire.

  4. Corrective Actions • The 2005 Chevy Cobalt that Chevrolet is recalling, is going to be fixed by placing two new headlamp assemblies, under or not under the warranty, since it was their mistake in the beginning.
