2. Bus mileage • Unity Point Buses are of two types. • The school has 15 buses and 14 routes. We also have spare buses for field trips. • There are big buses and smaller buses. • The big buses have 50 gallon fuel tanks. • The big buses can carry 71 students maximum.

3. Bus mileage • The mileage of a school bus depends on its size. • Most school buses can do seven to eight miles per gallon. • Unity Point buses do the same. • We have been told that our bus routes are as efficient as they can.

4. Bus mileage • The mileage of school buses is low. • The bus mileage is 82,106 miles. • We have also been told that the total cost is $35,882. • But Unity Point School buses carry many students. • The mileage is good if we think about the number of students.

5. Solution • The mileage of Unity Point buses can be improved if we could get new buses. • The new buses could be hybrid. • Hybrid engines have high mileage. • The new buses could be electric which also have high mileage. • We have about 10 buses
