  3. 254,650 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed this year. Of those new cases 40,170 women will die from breast cancer this year. But there is still hope There are over 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the world

  4. Breast cancer not only affects women, but men as well Two families in this room will be affected by breast cancer in some way This disease can affect not only a family, but an entire community.

  5. There are simple easy ways to prevent this disease.

  6. Drinking alcohol increases your risk of developing breast cancer 10-50% Simple lifestyle changes could possibly prevent breast cancer in your life Eating right and exercising daily will decrease your chances tremendously Women must get annual mammograms

  8. Donations to a worthy cause like the Susan G. Komen Fund Take part in fundraisers like the Race for the Cure Spread the word to family and friends
