Before leaving for your adventure, write a short story of how you will make sure your vehicle, you and your passengers are up for the long drive (two paragraphs).     19. After students have taken notes on under the hood checks and weekly self-checks, take them outside to the drivers ed car. You may move the vehicles before the police arrive if the vehicles create a traffic hazard. GIVE HELP if someone is injured. Do not attempt to move an injured person from a wrecked vehicle unless you have the necessary medical training or there is an immediate danger such as fire. REPORT THE CRASH to the police as quickly as possible. Motor vehicle crashes involving property damage, personal injury or death must be reported to the police. EXCHANGE INFO with other people involved in the crash as ASAP. (CHECK HANDOUT FOR SPECIFICS) NOTIFY your insurance company ASAP!
