Introduction • Today we will be learning more about the correct techniques for playing both the bongo drums and djembe drums. • We will be watching short lessons from the DVDs “Bongo Grooves for Beginners” and “Gentle Djembe for Beginners”. All lessons are led by Alan Dworskyand can be found at www.youtube.com/user/Dancinghandsmusic?feature=watch • The first part of each lesson focuses on proper technique for playing the drum. The second part allows you to join in and try out some new beats!
