The USNS Comfort (T-AH-20) plays a vital role in providing humanitarian assistance through the Enduring Promise Initiative. During its deployment on May 29, 2019, the ship delivered essential medical care across South America, addressing the healthcare needs of underserved populations in Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Honduras.
