  2. Executive Director Update • Sandy Spavone • Former executive director of NOYS (National Organizations for Youth Safety) • Developed national youth leadership training programs, programs to address specific health and safety concerns, and coordinated national campaigns

Executive Director Update • Vision/Goals • “Continuing to expand the FCCLA membership, and the leadership development opportunities for youth members as they participate in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, will truly create a powerful force for the field and for youth leadership. I am looking forward to working with the FCCLA Board of Directors, National Executive Council, State Advisers, Chapter Advisers, and National Staff to lead the organization to a new exciting phase of growth and partnership to make FCCLA the Ultimate Leadership Experience for all who participate.” • Solid leadership • Relevant programs • Diverse support • Publicity/website development
