A Prevention Strategy for Lincolnshire

This prevention strategy focuses on promoting well-being, supporting safer neighborhoods, and encouraging active lifestyles in Lincolnshire. It includes both primary prevention efforts and early intervention for individuals at risk of specific health conditions. By coordinating action and measuring the impact of investment, the strategy aims to make prevention services more effective and allocate resources more efficiently.

  3. What are we doing? • Lincolnshire County Council is working with other organisations to develop and co-ordinate action that will make prevention services more effective. This includes: • Reviewing existing prevention services. • Producing a strategy that explains how we’ll do it. • Put in place ways to measure the impact of investment in prevention, i.e. does the money we put into projects make people’s lives better? • From that we will develop a case to fund preventative services from core budgets in the future. Prevention Strategy

  4. Why are we doing it? • People want to stay as well as possible for as long as possible. • We can’t afford to carry on doing what we have been doing. • Help us to share and use resources (includes money and information) more effectively. • Government says so! Prevention Strategy
