  4. The genre of Half Moon is realistic fiction. The setting of Half Moon is at Fletcher Moon’s house and St. Jerome's Middle School in present time. The main characters in Half Moon are Fletcher Moon, Herod Sharkey, and April Devereax. The minor characters are Fletcher’s mom and dad, Doobie Doyle, and Bob Bernstein. The plot of Half Moon is Fletcher Moon solves mysteries for his friends that are in desperate need of his help, but when his badge is stolen people just think of him as a kid who solves mysteries. The conclusion of Half Moon is Fletcher Moon learns he doesn’t need a badge to be a detective. My opinion of Half Moon is it is an amazing book with a lot of humor and is good for anyone that likes mysteries. I think this is a good book for not only our classroom but for anyone. Half Moon

  5. The genre of The Supernaturalist is fantasy because it has special weapons and magical creatures. The main character is Cosmo is part of a group of kids called the Supernaturalist. Some other characters are Dito, Mona, Stefan. The setting is The Big Pig a city made of pig iron. The Plot is he starts in an orphanage but he breaks out and nearly dies, he watches a blue creature suck all the pain out of his body. Then the blue creature is shot. Cosmo is a spotter he sees all of the life sucking creatures. I would recommend this book to anyone. The Supernaturalist
