  4. Revelation 3:15-18 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,

  5. Revelation 3:15-18 not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.’”

  6. Lukewarm Hearts Today you will see that you cannot live life to the fullest with a lukewarm heart.

  7. You cannot fully love God…

  8. You cannot fully love God. “The love of the Father is not in them.” 1 John 2:15-16 “I need nothing…” Revelation 3:17

  9. You cannot fully love God. You have a lukewarm heart if you try to love God and the world.

  10. You cannot fully love others…

  11. You cannot fully love others. “The sin of partiality” James 2:8-10 “Love your enemies” Matt. 5:4-6

  12. You cannot fully love others. You have a lukewarm heart if you say you love others, but only love some.

  13. You are okay with that…

  14. You are okay with that. “I will spit you out of my mouth” Revelation 3:16 “Wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, naked…” Rev. 3:17

  15. You are okay with that. You have a lukewarm heart if you are okay with not living life in the way that God desires.

  16. A lukewarm heart cannot fully love God or others, and it’s okay with that.

  17. Life Application. Can you really say that you’re a Lukewarm Christian?

  18. Challenge. Give God your whole heart. Don’t discriminate who you love. Don’t be okay with being okay.
