  2. What is a Youth Group supposed to look like?

  3. What’s the point?

  4. Revelation 3:15-18 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,

  5. Revelation 3:15-18 not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.’”

  6. Lukewarm Body Today you will see that lukewarm youth groups are pointless.

  7. A lukewarm body is self-centered.

  8. Lukewarm body is self-centered. James 3:16 – where selfishness exists there will be chaos.

  9. Lukewarm body is self-centered. We are a lukewarm youth group if we only focus on ourselves.

  10. A lukewarm body is unmotivated.

  11. Lukewarm body is unmotivated. 1 Timothy 4:12 – Let no one look down on you because of your age. Matthew 5:14-16 – A city on a hill cannot be hidden

  12. Lukewarm body is unmotivated. We are a lukewarm youth group if we don’t stand out.

  14. Lukewarm body never changes. Galatians 2:20 – It is no longer I who lives, but Christ… Ephesians 4:15-16 – We’re a body that grows up in Christ

  15. Lukewarm body never changes. We have a lukewarm youth group if we never mature.

  16. A LUKEWARM YOUTH GROUP IS POINTLESS!

  18. Life Application. Q: What would it look like for us to love each other and love others outside of our ministry? Q: What would it look like for us to stand out in our community and on your campus as a youth group? Q: What would it look like for us to grow in maturity as a youth group?

  19. Life Application. How should we do these things?

  20. Challenge. Don’t let what happens in church stay in church. Be a missionary in your mission field. Get connected with God, the Bible, and a Lifegroup.
