  2. Where Did We Start? • September 3, 2013 - Started • 31 Navigators at 16 sites throughout Virginia • 1 Million of 8.1 Million Virginians are uninsured • 2 Navigators in Northern Virginia • 260,000 Northern Virginians are uninsured • 65,000 Medicaid Gap

Reaching Out to Allies and Creating a Network • Federally Funded Health Centers • ANSHI, Greater Prince William Community Health Center, Healthworks for Northern Virginia • Non-Profits Serving the Same Population • Northern Virginia Family Service • Free Clinics • Arlington Free Clinic • Department of Human Services (respective cities and counties)

Recruiting, Training and Maintaining Volunteers • Demand Required Trained Volunteers • No Natural Base of Volunteers • Recruiting, Training and Organizing Volunteers while Servicing Clients • Volunteer Support…Sustaining Their Involvement • Enrollment Parties • Every Wednesday evening, ENROLL Virginia hosts volunteer CACs who meet with clients one on one for application assistance in Arlington, VA
