  4. The Six Keys to Working Smarter • Focus • Train • Adopt • Automate • Delegate • Duplicate

Focus If you don’t know where you are going, any road will get you there. • What is your overriding goal? • What is the time frame for achieving it? • Ask yourself the “R-Factor Question”: “If this were three years from today, what would have to have taken place over that period of time, both personally and professionally for me to feel happy about my progress?”

  6. The Green Card Formula • Decide on the level of annual, residual income that you want to be earning in the next 3 years from your Conklin business. • Plug it into this formula to determine the size of a network of IBOs and field managers needed to achieve that level of income.

  7. Annual Income $ ÷ $1700 = # IBOs .08

  8. $50,000 ÷ $1700 = #IBOs .08 $625,000 ÷ $1700 = 368 IBOs

If you goal is to develop a successful Conklin roofing business or other profitable contracting operation a similar formula can be used to determine what it will require to reach your income goal. Delegate • A law of business: To the degree that you involve others in your business will your business succeed. • Look for people skilled in areas in which you are challenged. • Don’t overlook your upline, spouse or other family members, people in your existing IBO network, or others in the Conklin organization that have a particular expertise. • Develop a team.
