  8. The hostages are said to be Egyptian Coptic Christians wearing orange jumpsuits.

  9. The hostages were allegedly decapitated on a seashore in Tripoli.

  10. The beheadings prompted Egypt's president to threaten a "suitable" punishment for the killings.

  11. The Coptic Church confirmed that 21 Egyptian Christians believed to be held by Islamic State were dead.
