This hands-on activity allows you to design and build a delta model using a custom paper template. Start by drawing a template on A4 card and cutting it out. Fold the outer flaps upward and cut to create river edges. Once folded and assembled, color the sediment layers and secure the flaps with tape. Label essential delta features such as distributary, fertile delta plain, and river channel. This engaging project helps visualize delta formation and is perfect for classroom discussions about river systems.
