Direct Marketing (cont’d) • M-Commerce: promotional and other e-commerce activities transmitted over mobile phones/devices • Short-messaging system marketing (SMS) • Spim: instant-messaging version of spam • Adware: software that tracks Web habits/interests, presenting pop-up ads and resetting home page
