  3. Center Directions • Copy the answer document onto your loose-leaf paper • Each center you have a specific set of instructions to follow • Make sure everyone has their own answer document to answer your questions.

  4. Homework • Science Fair-turn in • Problem/question • Hypothesis • Variables-independent/dependent/control • Drawings-chemical & physical properties

  6. Agenda • Finish Mass Center • Data Table Activity • Science World Activity • Homework/Extra Credit

  7. Mass Center • How to measure mass on a scale • Complete the Mass questions on your answer document from yesterday • Wait to go up and measure mass of the 3 objects

  8. When complete with Mass Center • Complete data table activity • Create a bar graph-label x & y axis • Write your answers on a loose-leaf paper • Read each section carefully

  9. Data Table Activity • Create a bar graph to show the number of hazardous household items we use on a daily basis. • Label x & y axis • Create a title for your bar graph • Color the bar graph • Then answer the questions for the bar graph with complete sentences

  10. Science World Activity • Work with a partner • Each student must complete the graphic organizer • Each partner reads a section, discusses, and then completes the graphic organizer • Turn in the inbox when complete!

  11. Extra Credit • Find different items in your home and find the measurement of them. Include length, volume, and mass • Label the item, give the correct measurement using the correct units • Write up to 20 items • Write a procedure of a favorite food you eat- be detailed, draw pictures
